A.  UGteck™ App – Field Service Platform

Our properiotery cloud based App which is service platform for field service attendance by technician during port calls, during drydock or a platform for superintendent/Ship Engineers to use for resolving issue and be fully connected with knowledge base of the system or via experts. It keeps all stakeholders of Service connected and informed on a digital platform.

 

1. Knowledge Base

It provides Knowledge base not only to attending technician but also to the ship staff by 3 ways.

Historic Reference: It builds it own database based on historic problem with ships fitted with same equipment’s and provide the information as reference when needed. Which means say if Kangrim burner has some combustion problem in past, how the problem was re-solved is stored and in case you have same problem on another ship with same equipment, it provides you knowledge as reference.

Inbuilt Knowledge Base: Each problem is provided with the solution based on equipment manual which is prefeed in the system or being built as the service experience increases.

Remote Assist: The technician or ship can connect by inbuilt Remote assist tool with our expert for troubleshooting by chat tool+ photo with annotation tool so that our expert can mark it on a photo what you need to check. We do not prefer video communication as net brandwidth is not really suitable for meaningful video calls. However, our   feature opens an external remote assist app for video.

2. Realtime Overview: As a Tech Boss, you may wish to have limit to a birds-eye watch on job progress or you may wish to get fully involved with a project which can be set to your wish. Anyone involved can “tweet” his instruction as a direct reply to a notification directly into the system, everyone involved gets a real-time update based on program algorithms.

3. Ghent Chart Planner: Superintendent can have a full view of the service at each stage and post service for follow-up on the outstanding matters without running on multiple pages of service reports which is vetted by our Tech Manager, can keep tab of the technicians by looking on his Gantt charts, that will show which technician was working  and his entire planning.

4. Web Service Report: Web based Service reports with historic views & digital timesheet. You can add comments which will appear string in the service report. Any outstanding issues shows separately and can be made as follow up tasks.

5. Realtime Collaboration: Numerous features such as

6. E-certification: All calibration certificates are generated and instantly stored on the web for your download. Our E-certificate is speeding up digital certificate delivery, improving accuracy, and ensuring clients have all needed certificate on demand.

B. Module for Predocking & Drydocking Services

(Inbuilt tool for UGteck™ for planning to executing services)

Services are mundane jobs, don’t put your too much efforts into it. Use our module instead Planning of Automation & control equipment when the ship is going for drydock is most crucial for Technical Managers. Fact is ship usually arrive in yard without having the best plans in place(fact!!!)

The planner has inbuilt detailed Automation equipment list with all associated checks required to be performed based on our experience which ship crew must do before ship has to go for drydocking so that they can be planned out suitably.

The ship crew run thru the exported pre-docking checklist for each

equipment and reports back on the conditions or problems. The same report is imported into the platform and Tech Manager creates follow up Drydock task & assign to service company.

So basically, our expertise being used by ship to report the problems which reduces the load on Tech Manager and any miss outs.

C. Ship Performance Analytics- by our sister concern SkipperMax

While entire shipping is shifting toward connected ship concepts, ship automation importance is at peak. RAW Data is the new King.
