ALTERNATOR OVERHAUL & MAINTENANCE

Marine alternators are required to be overhauled or maintained every 5 yearly. Ship electrician can barely do in-situ maintenance thru inspection windows which is an eyewash done for updating ship’s PMS.

On other hand drydock charges hefty money for overhaul and never agrees to carry out in-situ proper maintenance leaving owners without options. Hence the alternators are left unmaintained which is always an unresolved matter & this is usual on each ship.

Variable frequency & Servo Drive systems

With 1st Jan 2023 approaching, many of the clients are working on changing the fixed drive pumps to VFD to save on fuel consumptions and reduce CII values.

REFURBISHING EQUIPMENTs FROM AFTERMARKET

All the aftermarket equipments originate from ship breaking yard mostly from Alang(India) or Chittagoan(Bangladesh).

Don’t be fooled by aftermarket vendor’s words that equipments offered are tested one and those few equipments where it is possible to power, still the condition remains uncertain.

These can only be tested in service Labs with specialised equipments for such testing & preferably overhauling to certain preset standards so that you know your equipment perchased is reliable.

We have taken first step toward organising the sector.

To name few are ballast tank sensors, Tank Radar Sensors, Pneumatic Actuators, temp Controllers, OMD, ODME, OWS, Fire alarm system, Gas monitoring systems, tank guaging systems, ballast tank sensors, Cargo tank radar system etc for all popular makes onboard.

Predefined overhauling procedure: We have prefefined procedures for overhaul of each equipment along with testing protocol. We would be happy to share overhaul & test procedure for each equipment.

Digital Certificate: We provide digital refurbishing certificate where applicable along with Web service report generated from our system, so you are assured what you are purchasing.

Reverse Engineering: Our expert team also does the reverse Engineering on many components which are not avilable and demanded by Technical Managers. These equipments can be Tank guaging radars, Ballast tank sensors and few more.

Refurbishing management systems approval: Our Refurbishing management systems are approved by DNV.
